Pro:
Loads quickly with a minimum of fanfare
Entering new notes is simple, just start typing
Workbench (a virtual lined pad) is straight forward
Con:
This app is far from intuitive; it frequently does not perform as expected.
No online user guide or tutorial is provided - users must sink or swim on their own.
No “Settings” options are provided.
No "Help" is provided.
The "gear" (Settings) icon in the controls column serves no function - click on it and your SOLE option is to exit the application.
Saving notes:
Saving frequency/methods should be “Settings” options
Notes are NOT automatically saved at the end of each day. Likewise users are not prompted to save notes or photos after each entry. Notes remain in limbo until manually saved or deleted.
Only the last photo tagged to be saved is actually remembered, however NO photos are copied to the note pad and no description or list of tagged photos appears on the note pad. When I tried to tag 3 photos, only photo #3 was remembered and transferred to Evernote. The only indication that any tagged photo even exists is a colored badge on the photo icon in the controls column
There is no way to recall, delete or edit a thumbnail image of a pending tagged photos.
For a far better choice for journaling, try OnePAD from which notes can be transferred to email, Evernote or social networking apps.
From my standpoint, vJournal For Evernote was a waste of money.
